Landfill Continuing Education Course Credits: Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Landfills Waste Age magazine and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center have joined to offer the "Developing and Operating Solid Waste Landfills Continuing Education Course." There are no prerequisites. At the completion of the lessons, course enrollees will be given exams and will be eligible to apply to their state regulatory agency for 2.0 continuing education credits (CEUs) (20 hours of training) toward maintaining their operator or manager certification. Module 6 is Bioreactor Landfill Design and Operation. Course registration can occur at any time until December 2006.
