EPA has decided to discontinue the Remediation and Characterization Technologies Vendor Directory based on resource limitations and the evolution of online search services, other directories, and a broad range of other resources on technologies and vendors. EPA created the directory in 2008 to compile and share information on treatment and characterization technologies. Over time, this directory was populated with information provided by over 400 vendors.

As a first step, as of June 28, 2012, technology vendors will no longer be able to add or update information to the Remediation and Characterization Technologies Vendor Directory. Upon discontinuation of the directory, a fully searchable database will no longer be available.
