Hydraulic
Conductivity
Hydraulic conductivity is the ease with which water can flow through rock,
soil, or sediment. It is analogous to permeability, but refers only to
the movement of groundwater, whereas permeability can be used to describe
the movement of other fluids, such as petroleum. Hydraulic conductivity
is measured in units of distance/time.
