David Heinze, PE is a Senior Manager with ENVIRON International Corporation located in Denver, Colorado. Since 2008, David has worked in the Site Solutions Practice Area at ENVIRON, specializing in environmental due diligence assessments, site investigation and remediation and ecological restoration. He is currently responsible for site investigation and remediation at several former mines, mills and smelters. David also has significant experience in the design and implementation of natural solutions to streambank stabilization and ecosystem restoration. Prior to ENVIRON, he worked for 16 years in the environmental consulting field with McLaren/Hart Environmental Engineering (1992-1996), Dames & Moore/URS (1996-2000) and Terra Technologies (2000-2008). Since 2011, David has contributed to ITRC as a team member for ITRC's BCR team. David earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 1990 and a master's degree in civil/environmental engineering in 1994, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia. David is certified as a Professional Engineer in Missouri, Colorado and Wyoming.
