Hans Stroo, Ph.D., has served as a technical advisor to the SERDP/ESTCP programs since 1997. He is located in Ashland, Oregon. Hans has experience in DNAPL site management, in situ bioremediation, innovative technology development, and brownfields restoration. He has worked for HGL, Inc since 2005 and previously, for RETEC for 17 years. Since 2003, he has worked with ITRC teams on DNAPLs, Enhanced Attenuation of Chlorinated Organics, and Environmental Molecular Diagnostics. Hans earned a bachelor's degree in Soil Science from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon in 1978; a master's degree in Soil Science from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1980; and a doctoral degree in Soil Science from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 1985.
