John Boyer is a Senior Consultant in Geosyntec Consultant's groundwater practice. Prior to joining Geosyntec in 2019, he served for 30 years as an environmental scientist with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). While with NJDEP, Mr. Boyer served as principal in the development of a vapor intrusion policy for the State of New Jersey. He co-authored "NJDEP Vapor Intrusion Guidance" in 2005 and all subsequent Technical editions through 2018. Concurrently, Mr. Boyer has participated with the Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council (ITRC) since 2004.
