John Sikes is a Quality Assurance Specialist working in the Military Munitions Division of the Environmental and Munitions Center of Expertise (EM CX) in Huntsville, Alabama since December 1994. He currently coordinates MMRP training events, manages the development of MMRP guidance documents, is the technical lead for reviews of program and project documents, conducts Quality Audits of field operations, is the HQ USACE point of contact for the implementation of the USACE Divisions' Quality Management Plan, he developed the EM CX Directorates's ISO 9001 quality system. Prior to USACE, John was in DOD's Quality Assurance Specialist (Ammunition Surveillance) (QASAS) career program 20, conducting inspections of stockpiled munitions, conducting quality assurance functions of ammunition maintenance operations, ammunition shipment operations, and conducting inspections of ammunition storage facilities. He has been stationed at Savanna Army Depot, IL, Seneca Army Depot, NY, Twisteden, Germany and Miesau Army Depot, Germany. John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985 in Journalism from the University of Saint Francis in Joliet, IL.
