 Virginia 
	 Kopkash supervises the Wetland Mitigation Unit in New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's 
	 Land Use Regulation Program. She has worked for the Department for more than sixteen years reviewing 
	 development applications and their potential impact on environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands 
	 and floodplains. She has also delineated and verified the extent of wetlands on properties throughout the 
	 State. The past six years she has been overseeing the development of the State's wetland mitigation 
	 program. This task has included such actions as developing wetland mitigation performance standards, 
	 reviewing mitigation proposals, overseeing the construction of approved mitigation proposals, review and 
	 assessment of the success of those projects and the general overall improvement of wetland mitigation in 
	 the State.
