Mike Sieczkowski is the Technical Sales Director for JRW Bioremediation, LLC in Lenexa, Kansas. Mike has been an environmental manager and technical resource since 1977. His specialties include aerobic and anaerobic enhanced bioremediation of chlorinated solvent and petroleum product sites, remediation of mine impacted water, site assessments, and remedial project management. Mike has been responsible for the management of a number of complex programs involving RCRA closures, chlorinated solvent site research and remediation projects, PCB cleanups, UST assessment and removals, real estate assessments, and compliance and guarantee testing. He has published a number of professional papers and has presented at over 50 conferences and seminars in the US and abroad. He is the lead inventor for a US patented process related to the bioremediation of mine influenced water and co-inventor for several anaerobic bioremediation substrate patents. Since 2007 Mike has served on eight teams for the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council as a coauthor and trainer. Mike earned a B.S. in Environmental Biology from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois in 1977 and has been a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) since 1995. Since 1986 he has been current in HAZWOPER site worker and supervisor training for emergency response activities. Mike is a native Chicagoan and throughout his career he has been based professionally in Chicago, Saint Louis and Kansas City.
