Nick Anton Nick Anton is an Environmental Engineer at CDM Smith in Helena, Montana. He has worked for CDM Smith since 2005, primarily on mining influenced water treatment and surface reclamation of mine wastes. Nick has worked on a number of treatability studies for passive treatment of mining influenced water and performed design and construction oversight for mine waste excavation and consolidation, liner and cover systems, and landform and vegetation reclamation. He was a member of ITRC’s Biochemical Reactors for Mining-Influenced Water team. Nick earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2002 from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan and a master’s degree in environmental engineering in 2004 from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico. He is a registered professional engineer in Colorado.
