Ron Wallace Ron Wallace is an Advanced Geologist in the Underground Storage Tank Management Program in the Georgia Environmental Protection Division in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked in this program since 1999, and is a team leader in the owner operated funded corrective action. He reviews closures, corrective action, and on-going remediation and monitoring reports. He reviews the first corrective action reports for the GUST Trust Fund. Ron routinely makes presentations on the program to different technical organizations. Previously, he worked for a number of different environmental consulting firms for seven years and a major petroleum company for 13 years in exploration, production, and marketing, where he managed UST releases, investigations, and remediation. Ron has been a member of the ITRC LNAPL team since the team started in 2007. Ron earned a bachelor's degree in oceanographic technology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in 1973 and a master's in geology from University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas in 1979. Ron is a licensed professional geologist in Georgia and a certified professional geologist by American Institute of Professional Geologists.
