Ed Wosika has served as a Geologist with the California State Water Resources Control Board's (SWRCB) Land Disposal Unit since 1986. Ed has worked, mainly, in regulation development/promulgation and interpretation, including integration of the federal MSW landfill rule with the SWRCB's pre-existing landfill regulations. Ed has been the sole, or contributing, lecturer for several statewide courses regarding inter-agency coordination, monitoring-and-response program optimization, and landfill release identification using statistical and nonstatistical data analysis methods, and has helped present the state-issues portion of SWANA's annual MOLO (landfill operator) training in California. Ed earned a bachelor's degree in geology from San Diego State University in San Diego, California in 1976 and a master's degree in watershed management from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California in 1982.
