Gregory Zalaskus is currently employed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) as a Case Manager with the Site Remediation Program, Bureau of Case Management. He has a B.S. in Geology from George Washington University with 21 years experience in the environmental and geotechnical fields for private consulting engineering firms and State Government. For the past four years, Greg has been a member of the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC) Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) team as the NJ State representative and has assisted with various ITRC UXO team tasks including the UXO Basic Training course. Over the past twelve years his responsibilities with the NJDEP include regulatory oversight of Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS)-Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) sites, NPL listed active Department of Defense (DoD) installations and federal facilities within the State of NJ.
