Ms. Bonanno co-chairs the CARE Program for EPA's Office of Water. She co-leads the CARE Administrative Team and assists with the daily management of the CARE program. During her 18 years with the EPA, she has held a variety of positions across the Agency. Prior to working with CARE, she served as a senior attorney and manager in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA). Under Ms. Bonanno's leadership, EPA successfully implemented far-reaching programs to help the regulated community comply with environmental laws and voluntarily report violations. Ms. Bonanno has also served in EPA's Office of Air and Radiation, including the air policy office and the Office of Radiation and Indoor Air. She authored "Challenges to Baltimore Bill Limiting Shelter", Maryland Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from the University of Maryland, School of Law.
