Steve Hoke began his career as a coal geologist in Kentucky, where he worked for Peabody Coal Company. His work in the environmental field began with NUS Corporation, who was a subcontractor for the USEPA and conducted initial Site Investigations at unregulated hazardous waste sites. After 11 years with an environmental firm in the private sector performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and managing ground water and soil remediation projects, Mr. Hoke joined the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in the Site Assessment Section. He has been conducting Unknown Source Investigations for contaminant impacted municipal wells and private homes for the last 10 years.
