Danille JorgensenMs. Jorgensen is an Environmental Chemist/Database Specialist who has been employed with Amec Foster Wheeler for over ten years. Her experience includes project chemistry, quality assurance/quality control, database management, data validation, QAPP preparation, lab coordination, and radiochemistry support. Ms. Jorgensen is the Amec chemist for the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and is the Sustainability Ambassador for the Amec Tacoma office. She enjoys consulting because of the wide variety of projects she gets to work on, such as: bulk and in-situ vitrification of waste at the Hanford site, abatement of Hangar One at Moffett Field, and MMRP projects like Camp Withycombe and Joint Base Lewis McChord. Ms. Jorgensen has a B.S. in Chemistry and B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington. This year Ms. Jorgensen completed her tour of the Northwest Amec offices, having worked for 4 years in the Richland, Wa office, 5 years in the Portland, Or office, and the last year in the Seattle, Wa office. In true Northwest native fashion, in her spare time she enjoys yoga, cycling, backpacking, and knitting.
