Joshua Kahr, Real Estate Consultant, Vita Nuova LLC

Joshua Kahr is a leading consultant, author, and professor on real estate finance and market analysis issues. As a consultant, Josh is involved in assessing the financial viability of single property and portfolio transactions as well as conducting market analysis for large and small properties. He recently authored Real Estate Market Evaluation and Analysis published by Wiley Books. He is a member of the faculty at Columbia Business School and has trained over 600 state and federal environmental regulators in real estate development. Joshua is an expert in the areas of real estate market analysis, development, and finance of contaminated properties and has extensive experience nationally buying and selling properties. He is an Associate Editor of the Real Estate Review, a peer reviewed academic journal, and also publishes a semi-regular newsletter, Kahr Notes, on commercial real estate. Joshua has written articles that have appeared in Urban Land magazine, Real Estate Matters, and Real Estate Review. Joshua has a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Reed College. He has been on the board of the NYU Real Estate Alumni Association board as a Director since 1999. He is also licensed as a Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Instructor in the State of New York.
