Keith Pezzoli is the Director of Field Research and a Lecturer in the Urban Studies and Planning Program at the University of California, San Diego. He also leads the Research Translation and Community Outreach cores of UCSD's Superfund Research Program which is funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Pezzoli's teaching and research concentrate on regional ecology and globalism, new biology and environmental health, sustainability science and information technology. Pezzoli leads the Regional Workbench Consortium and The Global ARC (Action Research Center). Currently he is conducting action research at the water/climate/poverty nexus in low-income human settlements of the U.S.-Mexico border region.
