John Podgurski has worked at EPA for over thirty years and is currently Chief of the Region 1 Brownfields Section. John was one of the pioneers of EPA's national Brownfields program and served as the Region's first Brownfields Coordinator. While at EPA, John also held positions as the Land Revitalization and Green Remediation Coordinators, and the Chief of the Connecticut RCRA Section, which implemented federal hazardous waste activities in that State.
Prior to coming to EPA, John worked in the chemical industry as a chemical engineer in research & development and production operations.
