David Reisman is the Director of the ORD Engineering Technical Support Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, part of the National Risk Management Research Laboratory. The Center has been operating for over 25 years and its scientists and engineers have worked with other EPA programs such as SITE, Mine Waste Technology Program, and the START program. Best known for developing innovative technologies, the Center has expertise in many soil remediation technologies and mining-influenced water treatment processes. David began his EPA career in health risk assessment (21 years) and established the Superfund Health Risk Assessment Technical Support and Combustion Technical Assistance Centers prior to his present center. David's dual training in both risk assessment and risk management provide a unique insight into remediation scenarios, and he has worked on over 500 hazardous waste sites around the country.
