Bob Rennick is as a senior land rehabilitation scientist with specialties in soil biology and chemistry, plant ecology, and land reclamation. He has served as project manager and as the land reclamation and wetland specialist on assignments for the EPA, USBOR, and private clients throughout the western US. Mr. Rennick's experience includes assessing contamination problems and customizing cleanup strategies at Superfund mega sites such as the Anaconda Smelter site. His work has involved: designing and conducting reclamation at mining and milling sites; developing land reclamation specifications; developing ecological assessment tools and post-reclamation performance evaluation methodologies; conducting phytotoxicity research; delineating wetlands; instructing graduate classes in range ecosystems and land rehabilitation; conducting risk assessments; and conducting cleanup feasibility studies at CERCLA-type sites using remedial investigation/feasibility study and engineering evaluation/cost analysis approaches.
