Darrell Brown is the National Program Manager for the National Estuary Program. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing a broad range of coastal programs, including habitat restoration, coastal research and monitoring, aquatic nuisance species, air-water initiative, and impacts of growth on water quality. He is also responsible for coordinating EPA's efforts to reduce the size of the hypoxic zone in the Northern Gulf of Mexico .
