S. Steven Chang is an environmental engineer with the USEPA Superfund program in Washington, D.C. As the Superfund liaison with the EPA Office of Research and Development, he also likes to work on implementing innovative ideas for Superfund hazardous waste sites cleanup. His interests include greenhouse gas reduction from Superfund landfills and recovery of methane energy, and ground water vapor intrusion related issues. Steve earned his BS degree in chemical engineering from U. of California at Berkeley, a MS in agricultural engineering from U. of Maryland, and a MS in computer science from Johns Hopkins U. In addition to raising a family, Steve enjoys public speaking opportunities at a Toastmasters club in his spare time.
