Dr. Colsman is a senior environmental chemist and project manager with Tetra Tech EM Inc. He has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Colorado State University and over 20 years of environmental consulting and laboratory experience. He has broad expertise in site restoration and environmental compliance, with additional experience in statistical and geochemical evaluations, analytical method development and validation, chemical QA/QC oversight activities, mining/metallurgy, and oil and gas. Over the last 10 years, he has supported EPA's Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI) in technology transfer and training for optimizing site characterization and remediation (e.g., through application of the Triad approach). He has provided technical support and Triad facilitation to project teams at Brownfields and Superfund sites across the U.S. through OSRTI's technical support centers, and is also currently supporting EPA carbon management and sustainable land use initiatives.
