Viola Cooper is a Community Involvement Coordinator in Region 9 and a National Program Manager for the Superfund Job Training Initiative (SuperJTI) Program for Regions 6-10 for the U.S. EPA. She has over eighteen years of experience as a Community Involvement Coordinator and seven years of experience as a SuperJTI National Program Manager. She has overseen SuperJTI training for over 100 students whom successfully completed the program. Ms. Cooper oversees the development of partnerships with the local community, local governments, Tribal governments and state governments. She has successfully managed over seven SuperJTI projects and the nation's first Tribal SuperJTI in Navajo Nation in 2012.
