Ignacio Dayrit is the Director of Programs for the Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR or "see clear"). Ignacio coordinates CCLR''s technical assistance program for redevelopment projects. He is a redevelopment expert having spent 21 years with the City of Emeryville (California) Redevelopment Agency, where he was responsible for the city''s Brownfields Program, and was instrumental in the Emeryville''s redevelopment of hundreds of acres of blighted, contaminated property. Under his guidance, the city received a Stockholm Challenge award from the King of Sweden and three Phoenix Awards.

Ignacio has presented and written widely on sustainable brownfield redevelopment topics such as financing, loan and grant programs and management, program development, regulatory oversight, community participation, public/private partnerships, low-impact development and economic development.

Mr. Dayrit has over 24 years of experience in public sector development, covering areas such as fiscal and financial analysis, public debt financing, feasibility analyses, public-private partnerships and urban design. He has architecture and planning degrees from the University of the Philippines and the University of California at Berkeley
