Ms. Fiedler is an environmental engineer with EPA's Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation, Technology Assessment Branch. She has a BA in Chemistry from Duke University and studied environmental engineering at George Washington University. She has worked for EPA for 27 years, and for most of that time has collected and disseminated information on technologies to assess and remediate contaminated sites. Major responsibilities have included tracking the status of cleanup technology use, documenting treatment cost and performance, and furthering the understanding of technologies to address challenging contaminants, such as dense nonaqueous phase liquids, perchlorate, methyl tertiary butyl ether, and arsenic.
