Mr. Hennessy has over 18 years of experience as a geologist involved in characterizing subsurface geologic and hydrogeologic resources, delineating groundwater contaminant plumes, and developing groundwater remedies. For the last thirteen years, Mr. Hennessy has worked in the RCRA Corrective Action Program at the United States Environment Protection Agency (EPA) Region III in Philadelphia. His primary responsibilities at EPA currently include providing technical geologic and litigation support for RCRA corrective action and enforcement cases, as well as assisting EPA Headquarters in developing the comprehensive Handbook of Groundwater Protection and Cleanup Policies for RCRA Corrective Action. Prior to joining EPA, Mr. Hennessy worked as a geophysicist in the oil industry focusing on subsurface exploration for oil and natural gas. Mr. Hennessy received his B.S. in Geology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and his M.S. in Geology from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
