Margaret KaragasProfessor Margaret Karagas is director of the formative Children's Environmental Health and Disease Prevention Research Center at Dartmouth and a Project Leader on the Dartmouth Superfund Research Program. She received her PhD in epidemiology from the University of Washington in 1990 after which she joined the Dartmouth faculty where she heads the Section of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Her work encompasses interdisciplinary studies designed to illuminate the pathogenesis of human disease beginning early in life, and impacting health throughout the lifespan.
