Kevin Mayer works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Pacific Southwest Region, Region 9, in the Superfund Program. Since 1990, Mr. Mayer has managed Superfund cleanup projects including a number of very large groundwater contamination sites in California. When Leviathan Mine became a federal Superfund site in 2000, he became EPA's project manager in addition to overseeing other Superfund projects. Kevin is a registered Civil Engineer and holds graduate degrees in several environmental disciplines.
