Kevin Mayer Kevin Mayer works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Pacific Southwest Region, Region 9, in the Superfund Program. Since 1990, Mr. Mayer has managed Superfund cleanup projects including a number of very large groundwater contamination sites in California. When Leviathan Mine became a federal Superfund site in 2000, he became EPA's project manager in addition to overseeing other Superfund projects. Kevin is a registered Civil Engineer and holds graduate degrees in several environmental disciplines.
