Matt LambertMatt Lambert is an Environmental Scientist in the Science Policy Branch of the EPA Superfund Program. He provides technical and policy guidance on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sediments. Recently, he's focused on promoting and supporting the use of passive samplers to detect hydrophobic organic compounds in surface water and porewater. Other work includes evaluating the use of sediment amendments as a remedial alternative, developing policy on the measurement of background concentrations, and providing technical support to regional staff on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sediments. Prior to joining EPA, Matt worked as an assistant scientist at Sea Education Association teaching general oceanography and field sampling.
