Don is an On-Scene Coordinator (OSC) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VII office, located in Kansas City, KS. Region VII includes the States of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. He began his career with Region VII in 1988. His experience includes conducting response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Oil Pollution Act (OPA), and the Stafford Act. He has also performed cleanups under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action Program. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and is a member of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM) and the Heartland Chapter of the ACHMM.
