Bill Linn is a professional geologist for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Bill has worked for the Department since 1992: two years in the Hazardous Waste Regulation Section (RCRA) and since 1994 in the Hazardous Waste Cleanup Section providing technical support for the Drycleaning Solvent Cleanup Program and state-funded cleanup sites. Prior to working for the Florida DEP, Bill was a petroleum geologist in Texas for 17 years. Bill is a founding member of the State Coalition for Remediation of Drycleaners (SCRD), which he served as chair and has twice chaired the SCRD Project Management Technical Subgroup. Bill earned a bachelor's degree in geology in 1974 from Michigan Technological University and has completed graduate courses in hydrogeology from Wright State University and Texas Technological University.
