Jennifer MacDonaldJennifer MacDonald is an Assistant Regional Counsel in Region 10 of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Ms. MacDonald enjoys the variety of work that she has experienced since first joining the Agency’s Region 7 office in 1991. Ms. MacDonald’s Superfund work ranges from large complex remedial actions to shorter-term removal matters. Ms. MacDonald also has experience handling RCRA regulatory and corrective action matters as well as matters involving CWA/OPA, RCRA and SDWA imminent and substantial endangerment authorities. Most recently, Ms. MacDonald led the effort to negotiate an innovative administrative settlement agreement using EPA’s Safe Drinking Water Act authority to address nitrate contamination of residential drinking water caused by dairy manure handling.

Ms. MacDonald obtained her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, and her undergraduate degrees in philosophy and finance from Wichita State University, magna cum laude. Prior to joining EPA, Ms. MacDonald worked at a law firm in Kansas City, Missouri.
