Glenn Marks is the Chief of Section A within the Environmental Remediation (ER) Branch, Planning, Programs and Project Management Division for the Omaha District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Glenn is currently the Section Chief and responsible for all projects and Project Managers for the ER Branch in that section. He is also the Military Munitions Design Center (MMDC) Manager and is responsible for Military Munitions projects conducted by Omaha and any AF MMRP project executed by USACE.
Glenn began his career in the military as a cannon crewmember with the 82nd Airborne and was stationed at Ft Bragg, North Carolina. He then went to Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) School and spent the next ten years performing EOD operations worldwide. In 1995 Glenn got out of the military and started Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) work as a contractor. In 2004 he joined the Corps in Omaha as an Ordnance and Explosive Safety Specialist (OE Specialist). While in that role he was the lead OE Specialist and in January 2008 took the position as acting Chief of the MMRP Technical Section. In February 2011, Glenn became the Chief for Section A in the ER program.
Glenn was born at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, and grew up living in both the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
