Kevin Mayer has been a Superfund project manager for over 20 years with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Region 9 based in San Francisco. Kevin's Superfund management experience includes cleanup of several very large groundwater contamination sites in Southern California. He currently oversees the Leviathan Mine and Aerojet Superfund Sites and three other Superfund Sites in northern California. He participates in a number of national and regional research and technical advisory groups on perchlorate, mining and other emerging issues. Kevin is a registered Civil Engineer and holds graduate degrees in Environmental Engineering from Stanford and in Soil Science and Microbiology from the University of Washington. His BA is from Rice University.
