Richard Meyers has over 23 years of private and public experience in the environmental and solid waste fields. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Business from the University of Louisville. He has extensive experience with solid waste related projects as well as soil, groundwater and air quality issues and environmental due diligence studies for land acquisitions. He currently is a Program Manager for the Broward County Solid Waste and Recycling Services managing projects in solid waste operations, including but not limited to, landfill construction, permit compliance, leachate generation/disposal, landfill gas collection and control, disaster debris management, and wetlands preservation. Richard is a Licensed Environmental Professional with the International Society of Technical & Environmental Professionals (INSTEP) and a Certified Landfill Technical Associate with the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
