Nancy M. Porter serves as the EPA – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Brownfields Liaison. She has 33 years of Federal Service, 26 has been with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, of which five years were in Frankfurt, Germany where she managed U.S. Army and Department of Defense projects.

In her role as Liaison she identifies brownfields communities with water resource related challenges and provides the list of communities to the US Army Corps of Engineers for coordination and outreach.

She also identifies community needs related to research and technology and coordinates those needs with the Office of Research and Development, National Risk Management Research Laboratory and The Technology Innovation and Field Service Division.

Nancy has a B.A. in Business Management from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and is a Certified Government Financial Manager.
