Dr. Rembish has performed as lead risk assessor and project manager for over 200 public and private sector sites, including risk assessments at both MMRP and HTW sites. Dr. Rembish is responsible for coordination of sampling efforts to support risk assessment, evaluation of fate and transport, exposure assessment, toxicity assessment and risk characterization in support of Remedial Investigations and RCRA Facility Investigations. Recent sites include Galena FOL, AK; Fort Monmouth, NJ; Red River Army Depot, TX; Walker AFB, NM; Camp Sibert, AL; among others representing projects completed in all 10 USEPA Regions. Toxicity assessments conducted in support of these projects involve evaluation of toxicological data used to derive cancer slope factors, reference doses, and toxicity reference values as presented in databases, such as IRIS, RAIS, and LANL's EcoRisk Database. Dr. Rembish was the lead risk assessor for multiple risk assessments conducted at the Former Lowry AFB in Aurora, CO. The FUDS SI projects have included the completion of over 400 screening level risk assessments. As project manager, Dr. Rembish is responsible for schedule and budget for a variety of compliance related projects.
