Roger Giese, Ph.D., received a doctorate in organic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). After subsequent postdoctoral training in biochemistry at Harvard Medical School, he joined Northeastern University, where he later became a Professor of Chemistry and Biomedical Science. His general research interest is nontargeted chemical analysis of biological and environmental samples based on mass spectrometry, including use of mass tags.
