Robert Thompson has 35 years of experience working for the Forest Service as a Geologist and a District Ranger. Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Geology a long time ago from the University of Montana. Minerals experience includes large and small operations, both on the technical minerals examination side, and in permitting/administration. Current position is Geologist with the Forest Service Central National Operations as locatable minerals specialist (mining) for eight western states.
