Shea Jones has been working on EPA's RE-Powering America's Land: Siting Renewable Energy on Potentially Contaminated Land and Mine Sites Initiative since January 2011. Ms. Jones has been at EPA since 1998. She started her career by working on the polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) and lead (Pb) teams under the Toxic Substances Control Act. She was employed in Region 9 (San Francisco) and Region 4 (Atlanta) as a Superfund Remedial Project Manager for 10 years. Ms Jones has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley.
