Robert Stewart has been a senior research associate at the University of Tennessee since 1994 for the Institute for Environmental Modeling (TIEM). He has a M.S. in mathematics from UTK and an undergraduate degree in both mathematics and statistics and is pursuing a PhD in Geography. His research interests include geospatial analysis, risk assessment, decision analysis, and sample design, usually within an environmental context. His career interests include scientific software development where these methods are developed and distributed. He has a number of collaborative projects with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
