Mark Tedesco has been working on the Long Island Sound Study since 1989. After becoming the director of the EPA Long Island Sound Office, the study culminated in the 1994 approval of a Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan by the Governors of New York and Connecticut and the EPA Administrator. Mark continues to direct the program with a focus on implementation of the CCMP in cooperation with government and private agencies and organizations.
