Randy Wentsel is the National Program Director for Contaminated Sites/Resource Conservation in EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD). In this position, he provides scientific direction of the program, leads in the preparation of the multi-year plans, and works with the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) and the regions on their scientific issues as well as the application of research products to address those issues. Randy served for six years on the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Board of Directors. He was also a SETAC Science Fellow serving for one year on the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Randy received a Ph.D. in Environmental Health from Purdue University.
