Hear about the soon to be proposed federal standards governing how to conduct all appropriate inquiries into previous uses and ownership of commercial properties for prospective purchasers who may seek protection from CERCLA liability as innocent landowners, bona fide prospective purchasers and contiguous property owners. The proposed standards also will govern how brownfields grantees must conduct brownfields site characterizations and assessments with brownfields grant monies.
