Presentation Overview:

EPA's Superfund Redevelopment Initiative (SRI) celebrates its 10-year Anniversary in 2009! To mark this event, EPA is hosting a diverse series of CLU-IN internet seminars featuring Superfund site reuse success stories. This series of webinars will present reuse case studies on multi use, renewable energy, ecological reuse, and commercial reuse.

In the spirit of our anniversary, EPA is using this first session to look back at how SRI started, lessons learned, and the future. Information shared in this session will include: how reuse at Superfund sites has evolved significantly over the past decade, what SRI learned from on the ground experience with Regions and communities to support site reuse, and how beneficial use plays a role in shaping EPA's Superfund reuse strategy. EPA will also present examples of different types of reuse, along with pictures and tools for success!

This is the first in a series of webinars to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Superfund Reuse. Please visit www.cluin.org/sri for more information on SRI and future webinar sessions.
