NAICS: 562910. THIS ACQUISITION IS A 100% SDVOSB SET-ASIDE under NAICS code 562910. This solicitation is a request for quotations. The Network Contracting Office 8-SAO East intends to award a fixed-price requirements contract to provide commercial services. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to provide emergency response, excavation, remediation (including potential storage tank removal from site), groundwater well installation, groundwater monitoring, water sampling, and reporting services for contaminated or impacted soil/groundwater for the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. This contract will be effective from July 15, 2018, through July 14, 2019, with 4 option years. There are two current sites within the BPVAHCS requiring remediation services. During construction of a new mental health addition located on the C.W Bill Young campus in 2013, four abandoned 30,000-gallon fiberglass underground storage tanks (USTs) containing diesel fuel, used for emergency generators, were removed from the BPVAHCS. During the removal process, it was not possible to remove the fiberglass tanks without destroying them, and this led to the mixing of diesel fuel-impacted soil with the groundwater. Although soil and groundwater remediation had begun at the location, construction activities prevented continued groundwater monitoring to meet FDEP Groundwater Cleanup Target Levels (GCTL). (Technical information on previous monitoring well locations and GCTLs results are available, on request, at the Safety and Emergency Management Office.) A second remediation site is located at the C.W. Bill Young campus, Building 40. This location requires soil and groundwater remediation due to a diesel fuel spill. Existing daily fuel tank within same building will be decommissioned. QUOTES MUST BE RECEIVED VIA EMAIL BY OR BEFORE 4:00 PM ET ON MONDAY, JULY 9, 2018.

The U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for geochemical analysis services in accordance with the solicitation posted on FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/?doc=140G0218R0040&agency=DOI [Note: It might be necessary to copy and paste the URL into your browser for direct access]. The USGS Energy Resources Program (ERP) has a need for geochemical analyses to support research efforts and resource assessments. Projects are currently being conducted by geoscientists in the ERP requiring geochemical analyses on different types of source rocks and oil and petroleum reservoir rocks and oils. These analyses will support research undertaken to further USGS understanding of the fundamental geologic processes responsible for the accumulation of major petroleum accumulations. The success of the research and the assessments supported by this research require not only high quality data but also analytical results that can be compared with historic analytical data that have been recorded in previous USGS scientific investigations. Services, non-personal, are required to provide all equipment, instrumentation, and materials (unless otherwise already provided herein) necessary to analyze geologic materials. The exact number of samples to be analyzed is unknown; approximately 1000 samples are anticipated to be submitted annually over a 5-year period (period of performance 08/01/2018 to 01/31/2024).
