A 6 MW solar farm offsets about 20% of the total grid electricity annually consumed by groundwater extraction and remediation systems at the Aerojet General Corporation Superfund site in Rancho Cordova, California. Potential expansion of the farm may add to the infrastructure of anticipated residential and industrial development on other portions of the site.
