Operations of three 1.5 MW wind turbines that were incrementally constructed at the Massachusetts Military Reservation over recent years offset 100% of the installation's annual energy usage for an extensive groundwater remediation program. The program addresses 11 plumes and includes nine pump-and treat systems that collectively treat more than 14 million gallons of water each day; some of the systems are expected to operate beyond 2050.
